What I'm Working On...

I’m already dying for summer. I know it’s not a good sign as we're only in February, but this mild winter has been such a tease. We’ve only had a dusting of snow here and there, and few days below 30. Either give me cold weather and lots of snow or let’s get to spring already. I'm yearning for long warm nights outside and you can see it in the warmth of this painting. That gold peeking through those corals and blues reminds me of lying out on the beach enjoying the quiet warmth. Spring can't come soon enough.

The colors aren't quite there yet for me, but we're getting close! Too bad I can't write off a mid-winter beach vacation as "research".
