getting inspired again

Between my lack of posting and lack of painting lately, you probably won't be surprised to hear that my inspiration had ebbed a bit lately. As an artist, it can be easy to get distracted inspired by other things (read: decorating a house) and pretty tough to get that focus back. Sometimes though, glancing up at the sky has a way of reminding me why I love to paint and what beauty surrounds us, and can snap me right back into the studio. Luckily that's happened and I'm feeling inspired again!! I still am distracted by this house of ours, but finding a bit of balance now :)
