A special spring showing with CD Gallery

Catherine kills at hanging a salon-style wall 🙌🏻

This past April, I had the privilege of showing new work with CD Gallery (Catherine Dolaher Gallery) in the heart of Georgetown, Washington, DC. Sharing the space with my friend and fellow artist Megan (Art by Megan) made it all the more special. We truly have the best time together, and it felt so natural to have our work side by side—our styles and palettes just speak to each other.

To top it off, the cherry blossoms were in peak bloom during opening weekend. It was the perfect backdrop for a show centered around light, reflection, and the beauty of nature.

My amazing mama and sisters flew in for our opening weekend!

My collection included landscapes, cloudscapes, and a brand-new series of butterfly paintings that had been quietly unfolding for years. The idea for the series had been with me for a long time, and I actually started Butterfly Swarm almost two years ago. Coming back to it felt grounding and meditative — from there, the rest of the series just flowed. As has been my signature for a long time, each of my works was painted over silver or gold leaf, creating a luminous base that allows light to move through the piece and reflect the movement found in the natural world.

I LOVED seeing how you all interacted with the work

Working with Catherine Dolaher was such a gift. She has a thoughtful, artist-centered approach to curation and brought such care to every detail of the show. This pop-up was just the beginning of our journey together, and I’m really excited to see where it leads.

Thank you to everyone who came by, purchased a piece, sent kind words, or supported from afar. Truly—it means the world. Being able to share this work with you is one of the most meaningful parts of what I do.
